The weekend has finally arrived! After my morning walk, or jog, to Starbucks, I like to reflect on my week. How did I do in regards to my personal fitness goals? Did I try something new? How was my eating habits? I choose this time of the week because I am closing my week and setting myself up for the weekend. What are my plans? Is there going to be food, cocktails, or anything that could derail me? If so, I plan accordingly. I keep my body nourished throughout the day with filling, low caloric foods. Don't ever starve yourself to save your calories for the big night ahead! Can you say self sabotage?
I made a note of my weekend challenge so I can keep track as I go. Hey, I don't always bust them all out at once. For example, I did 25 squats while my oatmeal was cooking and 10 pushups while the sink was filling for dishes. Sounds kinda silly, but that is how I keep my body energized throughout the day! Remember, this is a lifestyle, not a boot camp! Well, not yet!
Have a great weekend and keep that body moving!
