September: Scale and Calendar

My goal is to maintain my current weight.  I have faced the fact that I will never weigh 130 pounds.  Thank goodness,  I might look like I eat paper and drink warm water if I did!  I am happy with my current weight, but want to continue to tone my body.  I like muscle definition.  A lot!
So, at the beginning of August I began to weigh myself daily, same time, same place, and yes, naked.  First thing in the morning, after ridding my body of all extra stuff!  I watched it fluctuate a pound, or two, here and there.  I could also pinpoint why that was happening, through food journaling.  Hormones, alcohol consumption, food that goes with alcohol consumption.  Oops!
I ended my month down one half pound.  I'm ok with that.  Maintenance is my goal, but what is your goal?   Keep a log and reward yourself for your achievements!  Not necessarily with food!!!!  How about a new workout shirt, socks, or running shorts?  All make you feel good, and sexy!  Don't you dare be covering yourself with big baggy clothes while you are exercising!!!  How in the world will you be able to witness the transformation in motion?  Another good for the ego trick!  Happy weighing!  And remember, it is just a number, albeit, an important number, but it does not define you!
